When it comes to the physical preparation, the emphasis is on the opening of the body, chest and back, and becoming aware of the space needed for the growing baby. All of this is accompanied by a gentle stretching of the spine. We practice asanas which help to relax the pelvis and reduce the feeling of heavy legs.
The mental preparation consists of the preparation for the childbirth itself, through strengthening the will and inner stamina and by contacting your own intuition and connecting with your inner force.
